Console only sequel to Mappy, Mappy-land has you again playing as Mappy, a police officer mouse collecting items through four stories each with eight themed levels. The fundamental gameplay loop is still the same with Mappy jumping on trampolines to reach different levels and avoid enemies. New is the ability to distract enemies as well as level specific obstacles and abilities and subareas that can be found.

Good Bad
  • Unique features per level
  • A storyline that ties the levels together
  • Additional items to district enemies
  • Jumping can be helpful
  • A lot of randomness in enemy movement
  • Jumping over enemies can be difficult
  • Lacks a level select like the North American version
  • Story doesn't come across well in game
  • Still can get repetitive

7 Additional complexity makes Mappy-land a more complete game then it's predecessor but doesn't significantly change how fun the game is. Still enjoyable however this version lacks the ability to continue and the level select feature that the North American version has.
