A sequel to Legendary Axe has you playing as a weapon wielding warrior as you battle your way through levels with boss battles at the end of each. There are three weapons you can pick up each with different benefits including a short range but strong axe, a sword, or a morning star that can attack at 45 degree angles.

Good Bad
  • Three different weapons to use with unique uses
  • Useful screen clearing weapon
  • Gameplay is responsive
  • Simplistic level design
  • Graphics are dull and not detailed
  • Upgraded weapons don't feel stronger
  • The axe weapon is the worst weapon in the game
  • Screen clearing weapon triggered with "Run" button which feels odd

6 Legendary Axe II is not a bad game but is pretty generic compared to it's predecessor. Removing the strength meter makes combat require less skill and overall it lacks the charm of the first game.
